Message from the Chair

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 39th IEEE International Symposium on Power Semiconductor Devices and ICs (ISPSD 2027), which will be held from June 13–17, 2027 at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC) in Taipei, Taiwan.

This is the first time ISPSD is hosted in Taiwan, and we are truly delighted to welcome you here. It is a special milestone for us, and we are very excited to share this experience with the global ISPSD community.

Since its first meeting in 1988, ISPSD has grown into the premier international forum for advances in power semiconductor devices and integrated circuits. The symposium brings together researchers, engineers, and industry leaders from around the world to share ideas, present new technologies, and build collaborations for the future.
ISPSD 2027 will feature a comprehensive technical program, including keynote and plenary talks, oral and poster sessions, and a short course. These sessions are designed to provide clear insights into the latest trends and technologies, while also creating opportunities for in-depth discussion and interaction between academia and industry.

We are honored to host ISPSD in Taiwan—a warm, friendly, and vibrant place full of hospitality. Taiwan is well known for its world-famous cuisine, rich cultural activities, beautiful natural landscapes, and, importantly, its leading role as a global center for semiconductor technology and manufacturing. We believe this makes Taiwan an especially meaningful and enjoyable destination for your visit.

Beyond the technical program, we hope you will take time to experience the unique culture and energy of Taiwan, and create memorable moments during your stay.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Technical Program Committee, the Organizing Committee, our sponsors, exhibitors, and all contributors for their dedication and support. Most importantly, I would like to thank all authors and participants—your contributions are what make ISPSD a vibrant and impactful community.

We hope that during these few days, you will gain valuable technical insights and also leave Taiwan with warm and lasting memories of this special place.
I very much look forward to welcoming all of you to Taipei for ISPSD 2027.

Sincerely,

Dr. Tom J.-L. Tsai
